Junk email rate falls 4% owing to closure of spam affiliate

Ask anyone about Canada's best-known exports and they will likely name hockey, the BlackBerry and discount pharmaceuticals. Now, thanks to the demise in early October of the spam affiliate called Spamit, Canada has a respite from being the world's source for cheap online Viagra and Xanax.
Unsolicited come-ons for erectile dysfunction, weight loss and anti-stress medications – most of which purport to come from Canadian pharmacies – have accounted for up to two-thirds of all spam. In addition to discounted prices, the products appeal to consumers who do not want to deal in person with pharmacists and their staff. In fact, most of the orders for these products are fulfilled from countries like India and China, and many of the products are placebos or off-label substitutes. Some pose serious health risks because they have been adulterated with contaminates.
Spamit, a mainstay in the so-called “Canadian pharmacy” business, announced its intention to end operations due to increased pressure from global anti-spam forces and shut down a week later. As a result, according to Symantec's MessageLabs Intelligence Report for October, the global ratio of spam in email traffic fell 4.2 percent to 87.5 percent. Luxembourg was the most-spammed country in the world with a spam rate of 94.9 percent. The United States and Canada have rates of 91.6 percent and 91.3 percent, respectively.

fake viagra?

how can you tell if viagra is fake or (fake sildenafil). 2 guys bought them online from two different companies one came from india the other from china, another guy gets his from central america. All three look different in shape and size and all claim to be 100mg. There all blue color but is there a "CSI" test method to tell without taking the pill which one is fake. Oh and by the way there is another guy who gets a prescription one that is from Pfizer.
Because if all three are real then it becomes on who is paying the most to bring theirs in.
ive been ordering meds online for years and i have received fake ones before. To know if its fake you can do 2 things.
1. get a testing kit and test it yourself.
2. Ask them to get lot and serial numbers from where they bought it for the blister packs, if they cannot provide this information than its most likley fake.
If you want to make sure you get the real stuff in the future always use something like pharmacy checker or drug deliverys escrow service, both have a guarantee of satifisation.

The best choice would be to get it from your pharmacie, and try to find a generic if you need a lower price

Gideon Rachman (FT) assumes that “American policy towards China could change”. Following Gideon Rachman the current Google-China-conflict is just one factor of a bigger context:
“Google’s decision to confront the Chinese government is an early sign that the Americans are getting fed up with dealing with Chinese authoritarianism. But the biggest pressures are likely to come from politicians rather than businessmen.”
I think that Google has not acted (and will not act) without talking to politicians before. And taken to extremes I doubt whether Google is such an idealistic company, that it would leave a country, if web censorship increased in it. (Of course Google mentioned one or two more points and not only censorship)
